HONEY | Absolute

Pure Apis mellifera absolute.

Honey absolute is solvent-extracted from honeycomb and contains both honey and beeswax. 

The absolute has a very mild, sweet, oily odor, with a haylike body note and a soft, waxy undertone. The scent varies depending on the origin of the honeycomb and what kind of flower the bees produced the honey from.

It is traditionally used in perfumery and is an especially good natural fixative.

Undiluted honey absolute is a solid mass at room temperature that must be slowly heated to become pourable. This product in undiluted form is highly recommended for experienced perfumers only or those who feel comfortable working with a solid mass that requires work to become useable. 

*This is an absolute and is not meant to be ingested or taken internally.  Absolutes should be diluted before being applied to the skin.  

Presented in a 5ml or 15ml black glass bottle with a euro dropper top that may have to be removed depending on the viscosity of the item selected. Please note that essential oils and absolutes vary widely in thickness and consistency.
