Interested in experimenting with natural perfume, aromatherapy, or other fragrant endeavours? You'll need to familiarize yourself with some tools, and this start set can help.
This small set of tools contains 1 x a 60 ml (2oz) of carrier oil (that's your base!), 1 x an apothecary-grade glass perfume bottle with roller ball applicator, and 5 x disposable pipettes to help parse out your liquid ingredients. Perfect for small projects while you learn the art of natural perfumery.
- For your base carrier oil, choose between organic jojoba—best used for skincare products and all-over use, or fractionated coconut oil —a trusted natural perfume base with a neutral scent.
- For your vessel, choose between a 10ml and 20ml black glass bottle with a roller-bead applicator
When concocting your own cosmetic blends, always make sure to thoroughly research each ingredient—how it's used, what it contributes, and the potential safety risks they carry if misused.Always patch-test a new blend before moving forward to regular use.
