IN PERSON WORKSHOP | An Introduction to Natural Perfumery
At long last; this season, we're opening up slots for an intimate look into our perfumer's workshop. Join our founder & perfumer April Lea in the studio for An Introduction to Natural Perfumery; a small group workshop for beginners and initiates to the world of fragrance to learn about scent and compose their own natural fragrances.
The first hour and a half will be dedicated to introductions; to raw materials, to the world of natural perfumery, and (briefly) to each other. Scent is a conversation between the senses; 20+ raw materials and accords will be discovered and explored as a group, guided by April.
The second half of the workshop will be for blending, putting the tips and tricks learned earlier in the class to use as you craft your own dream fragrance while assisted and supervised by April.
Each participant will leave with:

- a basic understanding of the art of perfume blending
- a printed summary of the workshop's content for future reference
- a 10 ml Eau de Parfum spray fragrance blended during the class
These workshops will be taking place on Saturdays October 25th, November 8th, November 22nd, and December 6th 2025, from 12:00pm to 3:00pm.
All workshops will be held in person at our studio & boutique, located at 160 rue St. Viateur East #108, in the Mile-End neighbourhood of Montréal. The workshop will be lead in english, with french support available.
10 places per workshop, including one free scholarship slot*. The price of the workshop includes the cost of materials to blend and take home a 10ml alcohol-based natural fragrance.
Scholarships are a form of community care, extended to those historically disadvantaged or underrepresented in the context of perfumery. Priority will be given to those from marginalized groups and individuals in need of financial assistance. No proof of income required; we trust you to act in honesty and integrity.
