Pure Cananga odorata essential oil.

Ylang ylang is the essential oil extracted from the large fragrant, pink, mauve or yellow flowers of Cananga odorata. The cananga tree, or perfume tree, is a tropical tree native to India, parts of Indochina, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, and parts of Australia.

There are various grades of ylang ylang essential oil which refer to the fraction of distillation. Ours is "extra" grade, from the first fraction, and is the highest quality available. It has a very powerful, floral, and intensely sweet odour similar to jasmine. The dryout is pleasant, soft, sweet, slightly spicy and balsamic-floral.

It is one of the most commonly used scents in perfumery and is traditionally used in aromatherapy for its mood-boosting properties. In magic, it is related to love and sexuality.

Presented in a 5ml or 15ml black glass bottle with a euro dropper top that may have to be removed depending on the viscosity of the item selected. Please note that essential oils and absolutes vary widely in thickness and consistency.
