Également connue sous le nom de menthe orange ou menthe bergamote, Mentha citrata est un membre très aromatique de la famille des menthes, traditionnellement utilisé en parfumerie et en aromathérapie pour son odeur herbacée, florale et citronnée. Sa teneur élevée en linalol lui confère un arôme à mi-chemin entre la lavande et la bergamote, avec de douces nuances mentholées.
