Poplar Skin Stick | BOREAL FOLK
by BOREAL FOLK
Experience the soothing power of the forest with our poplar bud skin stick. Crafted with wild-harvested poplar buds, renowned for their natural healing properties, this versatile balm provides on-the-go relief for dry, irritated skin.
Its subtle warm scent is sure to calm & ground your senses. This balm is made by mindfully gathering poplar buds in the late winter and infusing them into cold pressed olive oil for many moons. It smells like early spring when the leaves of the poplar trees begin to unfurl and exude a wonderful sweet aroma into the spring winds.
Key Benefits:
- Soothing & Healing: Poplar buds contain natural antiseptic and anti-inflammatory compounds, making this skin stick ideal for soothing minor cuts, scrapes, insect bites, and other skin irritations.
- Moisturizing & Protecting: Enriched with nourishing oils, this balm deeply moisturizes and forms a protective barrier over your skin, helping to prevent moisture loss and promote healing.
- Convenient & Travel-Friendly: Packaged in a convenient compostable stick format, this balm is easy to carry and mess-free, making it perfect for on-the-go use whenever your skin needs a little extra care.

About Boreal Folk: Boreal Folk is a unique company handcrafting natural skincare products inspired by Canada's northern landscapes. Their products are made from sustainably wildcrafted plants gathered on their acreage and locally sourced Canadian ingredients. Boreal Folk uses minimal recyclable glass & biodegradable packaging to minimize the company's footprint.
Owners & creators, Raphaëlle Gagnon & Mark Coelho are a dynamic duo that launched Boreal Folk from the back of their van in 2015. They then moved into a 1967 bus and handcrafted their line of goods in a 99 square foot workshop called the 'Wilderness Lab’. It was an off-grid mobile studio that traveled with them throughout Canada. The product line is inspired by the beautiful boreal forest and their products clearly reflect its unique essence. They live and work on traditional Anishinabeg lands. A small team now handcrafts Boreal Folk products from their farm in the Wakefield, QC region, made from botanicals found on their property and surrounding forests.
