CARNATION ABSOLUTE | Pure Plant Extract
Pure Dianthus caryophyllus absolute from Egypt.
The Carnation flower has a mysterious, luxurious, comforting-yet-euphoric aroma, corroborated and supported by history. Indeed, the flowers were strongly associated with love, weddings, and fidelity. In the Victorian language of flowers, it symbolizes pure love. Carnations were also the main flowers used by the ancient Greeks in the making of garlands and coronets, from which its name is derived.
In modern perfumery, Carnation provides warm spicy, and floral nuances; it yields charismatic notes of honey and spice with a breath of flower languor.
The absolute is mainly intended for use in perfumery and has a golden straw to green, semi-transparent liquid that becomes more mobile in warm ambient temperatures.
It blends well with balsam of Peru, benzoin, bergamot, black pepper, carrot seed, cedarwood (Atlas, Himalayan), cinnamon, clary sage, clove, frankincense, geranium, Immortelle, jasmine, labdanum, lavender, mimosa, neroli, orange, patchouli, petitgrain, rose, tuberose, vetiver and ylang-ylang.

Do not ingest essential oils or apply them internally, and avoid contact with the eyes. Keep out of reach of children and pets, and consult a knowledgeable health practitioner before use when pregnant or breastfeeding.
