MOURNING RITUAL | Parfum botanique - velours, encens, roses fanées, résines

Like an altar full of candles, incense, and roses both fresh and wilted this perfume oil captivates me. I feel as though I'm walking along the pews of a church lit only by candlelight with my own bouquet of roses mourning the altar of someone unknown, but am warmed by the light of the candles. Truly lovely.

Beautiful, gothic scent. For the witches & goths… Reminds me of walking through the cemetery in the winter time. My favorite lvnea scent by far. My only complaint is that it does not last very long, but I think that is the nature of perfume oils.

On my skin this perfume is very light and sweet, with a richness that I find super comforting. The rose is very present and well supported by the other scents which I am less familiar with and don't know how to differentiate.

I'm quite scent sensitive (although obviously not enough to not be able to wear any scents) and I find that overall the parfum botanique line is scented enough with just a dab, without being overpowering and therefore quite enjoyable to wear. I also personally appreciate that the scent doesn't heavily linger all day.

such a beautiful smell, incense is one of my strongly favored scents and this blend is well balanced, and not overpowering, I love it.
